Controller hell

I have two controllers, one wireless 360 and one wired standard USB controller. Both work great in rev 2.0. But in later builds, r 6285 is just one of them, I cannot get any of them working. Nothing happens when I touch any of the buttons on them. Not even while configurating the device in the panel. Anyone found a solution for that?

Do they work in GCPadNew in Dolphin 2.0?
Can you figure out which revision caused them to stop working?

Thanks. I figured it out. restarting Dolphin did the trick. Strangely enough, I have to do that every time I change a setting. Is that a feature or a bug?
