Dolphin Forums,

No idea whats going on, first time user here. Every other Wii game I've tried runs perfectly with the WiiMote, I have no Issues with it whatsoever.
However, when Metroid Prime Trilogy the WiiMote just randomly disconnects stating that "Communications with Wii Remote have been interrupted. I have no idea why this is happening, any thoughts?

-EdenSerrot

EDIT: Using Dolphin 3.5, no revisions.

When your Wiimote disconnects press Alt+F5 to re-connect.

You can also try to check "Alternate Wiimote Timing" in "Properties" (right click your game in your gamelist)

Thank you, I will try as soon as I get home. What does Alternate Wii Timings do? Will it affect anything in any of my other Wii games (No More Heroes 2, Metroid: Other M)

It mutes Wiimote speaker and may avoid random disconnections. Check this option only if necessary

Metroid Prime Trilogy has frequent disconnects since dolphin version 3.5-471. either use a version before that, or disable the speaker in the wiimote-settings in the newer versions. that should also fix that.
