I have a Wiimote connected to Windows 8. It shows up in Windows, far left blue light stays solid, can also connect via Wiimote menu in Dolphin and it vibrates. But...not working in any games. I have tried a few other things and nothing gets it going in Dolphin, though it works in other emulators. Help? Thanks.

They are real Nintendo Wiimotes from probably 10 years ago. 08-31-2016, 01:07 AM
I see. Well, are you sure your Wiimote still works? If it works with a Wii, then it's likely to be the same issue (Wiimotes being connected, but broken input). The suggestions here still apply (see if it works with the Wiimote test program, test it on Linux).

I thought if you had a bluetooth-connected Nintendo WiiMote that was recognized by Dolphin (mine is, it buzzes), it should basically work automatically. I also have a USB Wii sensor bar which is used successfully by others to do exactly this action. I can get a standard wired USB controller to work just fine in Dolphin but not a WiiMote. Would TouchMote help? I can connect the WiiMote with TouchMote and use it as a controller in JNES or even as a mouse replacement for my computer, it's just not working in Dolphin. 10-21-2016, 09:37 AM
It wouldn't.
You may want to try the new Bluetooth passthrough mode and see if that fixes your issue. (Note: not all Bluetooth adapters work with this) |
