Hello Dolphin-Forums-Members Smile

I just got a new 8BitDo SF30 Pro controller and wanted to know if it is possible to use it for a Wiimote emulation?

Effective problem:
Everything was mapped correctly except for the motion controls.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best Regards
Cartmenez

Edit:
Sorry! Flase Area!

Maybe? How are you connecting the controller?

If you´re using BT mode you´d better be using BT Passthrough.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

That won't work, it's not a Wii Remote.

All controllers to wii mote motion controls are not great. It will depend on the exact games you are wanting to play, but in general there are too many motions you would need to hotkey for most (if not all) controllers to really be great, even with a keyboard there are a lot of games that are not really that great.

If all you want to emulate is the standard buttons on the wii mote or even better a classic controller connected to a wii mote then the 8bitdo will work great, I use one sometimes (I mainly use my PS3 controller for the feel of it).

Hello everyone and thank you very much for your tips and hints Smile

Short summary:
A Wii-Mote emulation is easiest with an original controller.
Other third-party controllers don't deliver the right scope.

@DJBarry004:
BT Passthrough unfortunately didn't bring any improvement.

@TKSilver:
The standard buttons were emulated correctly, it is still only about motion emulation and this is not used in any of my tested settings.

Yours sincerely
