Controler problem

Ok guys, sorry if this topic is repeating, I tried to find one to match mine but I didn't.

Ok to the problem at hand, I have a USB controler (not related to Wii), and I mapped the keys but when I start the game (Naruto Shippuden Gekitou Ninja Taisen Special) I can only click the ''A'' button on the start screen and after that none of the keys work, except the ''home'' key that I mapped.

Anyone knows what the problem is about?
I can give you some screenshots if it would help.

Is that game for Wii, or Gamecube? I don't know. Try configuring both the emulated Wiimote and the GC pad. It may require something different from what you've configured.

When you go to the controller mapping screen, did you select the controller from the drop down menu and save your preferences as a profile?
