Controler no longer working in game, still works in config

Yesterday i set up dolphin and got my controller configured to. i ran wind waker to test it and everything worked fine. Today I cant do anything in game, but the controller config still shows inputs being received

any suggestions?

Can you post your controller config?

everything worked fine day before yesterday. then yesterday and today nothing in game works. pressing buttons still shows the correct button being pressed in the config

I am having this very same problem at the moment. It works fine for Steam Big Picture Mode and shows to be responsive as usual in the config menu but is not accepting any input otherwise when launching a game.

The same thing is happening to me with windwaker and luigi's mansion, config is ok, but in - game controls don't respond.

bumping this. still need an answer. restarting, reinstalling, and reconfiguring have no effect. still have no control in game

Can you control with keyboard?

Yes, after switching to the keyboard it worked, when i switched back to controller the joystick works but nothing else does

I have discovered the problem! the "threshold" setting for the buttons was at 100. Moving this down to even 99 got everything to start working. At anything but 100 everything works fine. Not even sure what this setting does but that is what fixed it for me
