Hello, curious as to how I can setup my 360 controller to emulate the wiimote and classic controller. I have done searches but it seemed alot of infighting about what was correct. I simply want to have it mapped to get in and then have everything playing via classic. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Set the Wiimote extension to Classic, then configure that section. Keep in mind that not all games are compatible with the classic controller.

MK Armageddon is. I just don't know what I'm doing once I am in there. Do I set all of the buttons to the classic controller?

So I use "emulated Wiimote" then button-wise none are mapped in the Wiimote section, choose classic as the extension and map all there?

EDIT: Thank you, guys both! Oh and future reference. I noticed I had under GameCube Controllers, one of my settings active. I set it to "NONE". DOH!

That's what I had wrong also.

Ok looks good to me. I have attached a screenshot of the mapping. I did it the best possible way to match the classic controller to XBOX 360.

Just gonna throw it here if someone might wanna check it out. When I jump the hurdles I'm actually not too bad at making mappings.

You can map the L+R analog triggers also to the L+R triggers on your XBOX controller so you don't have to push the Thumbsticks to do that action... that way you have the full functionality: pull the trigger halfway (or less) to have the analog trigger. Pull it all the way and you have the button at the end of the trigger.

You can also do this on the Gamecube controller screen for games like Mario Sunshine and some racing games so you have exact control just like on the real machine.

Yeah I think I am kind of lost on that. That's where I am kind of lost. Can you elaborate more on that part?
Like I have some little tricks I use, like I use the left analog on XBOX360 to pop a wheelie in mario kart wii and that, but I think you just "whooshed" over my head. Wink
