Control pad presses also affect d pad

Hey guys,

I was playing a Wii game using the classic controller touchpad setup and noticed something strange. When using the control pad if I get to close to the dpad I trigger the dpad too. This doesnt happen when I use the dpad or c-stick nor does this affect other buttons. Example if I press right on the control stick and my finger moves to far the L button on the dpad gets triggered too. I do not know if this affects all control types or just the classic controller.

Also, is there a way to adjust the transparency of the touch controls? I'd like to make them a little more see through.
