Control buttons vanishing NOT bunched at the top

So I had this issue a few days ago when playing gamecube games on my Samsung Galaxy S8 + and after reinstalling dolphin it still persisted. I had to track down every single file folder and config and manually delete, as simply uninstalling it didn't get rid of everything but I finally got it reinstalled and working properly again. It was fine the first couple times that I ran it and played games on it, and then all of a sudden every single button besides the "L" button disappeared again. I've tried toggling the buttons, remapping, changing the size, and I can move the L button around and change the scale but every single other one of my buttons is gone. The only fix I've found is manually deleting every single dolphin related file and reinstalling, but after a few times of playing when I go back to load my game it happens again.

I had a similiar issue because of rotating the screen. Our positions are absolut, and changing the resolution or rotating the screen may move some of them out of the display...

Interesting, I just rotated my screen and the R key suddenly popped up too. I still can't seem to find the other keys, they seem to wandered off screen. I wonder if there's a way to set boundaries for where they end up, or a reason why they suddenly move around? Most importantly how to bring them back without manually uninstalling every time.

This is interesting, I would really like for my buttons to disappear because I use the game pad with my Moto z2 and even tho I keep all of the on screen buttons bundled up in the corner I still think it would be nice to make them completely disappear like on the ppsspp emulator. Any thoughts? Is this already something that can be done and I just don't know about it?

There should be an option to "toggle controls" in the menu -> "configure controls". That allows you to disable the onscreen controls.

Though weirdly I just tried this and needed to do it twice for it to work... Not sure if that's a bug or just some weird local settings...
