Greetings Everyone! Smile

I am seriously considering buying all the required components, to play Skyward Sword.
So far, what I have gleaned from this forum, is that we need the following items :

1) Wiimote w/ wiiplus
2) Nunchuck
3) Sensor bar (usb)
4) Bluetooth usb dongle

What I am asking, is a 2 part question.

1) IGN gave Skyward Sword a 10, claiming it is even better than Ocarina of Time. Can any players, confirm this review? I've been playing Zelda games, since the NES. And honestly, the formula, is a bit worn out. We've spent the last 25 years, looking for pretty much the same upgrades. Metroid, is quite similar. 25 years, and somehow, you always need to re-discover, how to morph-ball? (I still love and play the games, but one can't help notice these things, over the course of a couple of dacades! LOL!!! Smile )

So with that in mind, for the people, who have bought this game, and now have some basis for a comparison, may I kindly request some feedback on Skyward Sword, in terms of how it rates to previous Zelda games and/or IGN's review, stating it is a 10.Smile

2) If I buy all of the 1st party accessories, will I run into problems? I did notice, that you have to switch from real to hybrid, to get the cursor back, and that is not a big deal. But honestly, is this working for most people?

Any feedback, would be greatly appreciated ~

1) It's true .But i think the game should have character voice , it will be much more interesting
2) The official Wiimote works 100% . Proof :

Not sure about 3rd party wiimote though . You don't need hybrid wiimote if you have a sensor bar , that's option is used for playing game without sensor bar

Skyward Sword, from the small 3-4 hours I've played so far, definitely deserves a perfect 10. The concepts and such are better than Ocarina of Time. But once I've finished the game, I can give my final verdict Tongue.

And I disagree with you admin. Zelda games should never have 'character voice'. The shouts that Link emits, and the occasional sounds that NPC's etc make is more than enough.

My thanks, to both Admin 89 and Garteal! Smile

Admin89, are you saying that if I use the 1st party controller with the built-in motion+, that I will not need a sensor bar?

My mobo has built-in bluetooth functionality. Does that also mean that I can bypass the bluetooth usb dongle as well?
