I have been playing Sonic Adventure 2 and have been trying to virtually connect a Gameboy Advance so I can get a jewel chao from Sonic Advance. I can not seem to get it to work properly. I can't find help for this anywhere as it seems not many people do this with dolphin.

I can actually get it to recognize that there is a GBA connected, but it wont let me retrieve a chao from VBA.

I have Dolphin 5.0 and VBA-M (the newest version i could find). Any help would be appreciated.

I have the latest official one, which is only a year old. Do you mean the newest development version?

That does mean that feature won't operate differently in newer builds.

In any case, GBA connectivity functionality is an incredibly finicky feature to get working.

EDIT: s/does/doesn't

Yeah that makes sense. I did just try it with the newest dolphin version and it still didn't work. I still can't send/receive chaos.

Dunno then. If the newest dev build doesn't fix it then I couldn't tell you how to fix it.

appears to echo my concerns about the feature being extremely difficult to get working correctly.
