I've been searching around for hours to find someone who has the same problem as me to no avail.
I start up Dolphin, go to Wiimote settings and press 1+2, then this comes up:

My Wiimote vibrates, and the player 1 light stays solid.
The configure option next to Real Wiimote stays greyed out, and in GCpad configuration, I can't select the Wiimote, just keyboard/mouse:

In Control Panel>Device Manager, the Wiimote is listed as paired, and when I hit buttons outside of Dolphin, my dongle light flashes.
I am using an original Wiimote, no Motion Plus, and I've tried hitting alt+F5 several times.
Any ideas? I wasn't sure if this should go in Controllers or Support, so sorry if I did this wrong.

I can play games fine, fyi

Umm. You don't configure real Wiimotes; they're literally real wiimotes. That's all there is to it; you use it in Wii games, it's automatically passed through when its connected.

I'm using a Classic Controller Pro though, and it's for Gamecube games. No shit it's a real one, I said the player 1 light was staying on and it vibrated.

You need an emulated device and not a real one if you would want to use it for anything else other than what it is supposed to be used. As much as you can't use a real wiimote to play gamecube games you can't use a real Classic Controller Pro to play them, they would work only as an emulated device i suppose. Haven't tried either personally though.

So I figured it out, I downloaded GlovePIE and some scripts and it's working. Apparently Dolphin doesn't want you to use a Wiimote on GC games.

On topic,

WiiMotes arent natively supported by GC games. I am glad to see that GlovePie worked for you Smile
