Hi - is there a de facto best setup for connecting the Wiimote & nunchuck to a PC?

i.e. best sensor bar and bluetooth connection.

I saw this thread:

I got the impression this recent development might be the ultimate solution for the bluetooth connection - am I right on this?

Cheers..

If you do not care about Bluetooth passthrough, the Dolphinbar is a solid choice.

If you want the benefits of Bluetooth passthrough (all 3rd party wiimotes working, slightly better Motion+ accuracy), get a bluetooth dongle documented here

https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough#Adapter_test_results

And any USB sensorbar from Amazon. The Dolphinbar will NOT work for that.

Thanks, this is really useful.

Is the latency of the good modules as good as with a real Wii?

I noticed under the 'limitations' section that it says this:

"Even though most adapters work fine in passthrough mode, the only perfect adapter is the Wii's Bluetooth module (so far)."

I got the impression in that thread I linked to above that by actually using a real Wii bluetooth module we might get that perfect adapter? I don't know much about this so I could easily be very wrong here..
