I'm using yosemite and I've followed the instructions here ( https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/configuring-controllers/ and here https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/wii-remote-plus-rvl-cnt-01-tr-connection-guide/ just to be on the save side) My controller lists as Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 and I was unsure if that would be the -tr type so i tried it anyway I've also tried using a wjoy driver on and off as well. it will connect to the mac just fine and it seemed to be detected on 3.5 as well, but it would never work in game and the lights either stayed flashing or shut off entirely. Is there anything I'm missing or any extra software or methods I should attempt? I'll be happy to provide any additional information on my software and hardware needed as well.

Edit: figured it out you can't let osx use it in bluetooth when you want to use it, as in delete it from your blutooth preerences after pairing it once. also doesn't seem to work with 4.0 it worked for me with 3.5 if you are using one of the -tr models dont forget to use the sync button instead of 1+2 thats any model past (I believe) 2011
this thread pointed out the trouble I was having and explained it https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-wiimote-keeps-flashing-mac
