Hi all,
I'm currently trying to connect 4 real wii remotes to my steam deck using the actual Wii BT module. I feel like I have a pretty good grip on my setup but i still cant seem to connect all 4 wii remotes simultaneously.
Things to know:
- Emulation was setup through emudeck
- the Wii BT module i bought from: https://www.abbiedoobie.com/
- i followed the guide here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?t...assthrough and did not run into errors setting up the udev rule, but am confused on the whole "modprobe -r btusb" part. if someone can elaborate that'd be nice
- My VID & PID are 057e:0305
- One Wii remote will connect fine, but when I try to connect a second it takes a lot of tries. When it finally does connect, it disconnects after a second or 2
- These Wii remotes have worked on a real Wii within the past 3-5 months
I have a feeling Dolphin isn't choosing the Wii BT module. I did some research, and when I opened the Dolphin.ini file, I saw:
[BluetoothPassthrough]
Enabled = True
LinKeys =
I ended up adding VID and PID to make it look like this:
[BluetoothPassthrough]
Enabled = True
VID = 1406
PID = 773
LinKeys =
After all of this, i reopened dolphin and tried again. No luck. Any help is appreciated
