Connecting 4 controllers?

Hello

I've just aquired the Mayflash USB new edition double GC connector thing.

From before i had the wireless USB mayflash Wii classic controller thing.
It works perfectly.

But I had 4 gamecube controllers with my Wii, and I wanted to connect them to dolphin.
So I bought the new mayflash usb connector.


But how do I connect 4 controllers at once? I really don't understand the process. I've connected 2 or 3 controllers, but never 4. So that they individually interract in the gamepad option on dolphin, but the third controllers was bugged ingame. The Dolphin understands my 1 controller on one usb connector and 1 controllers on the other usb connector, or two on the same if only 1 is connected. But never all 4.

I was wondering how to troubleshoot this, if anyone has any input. I'm sure there's some perfectly logical way to solve it, or just some option I have overlooked somehow.

okey also to add: the controllers work perfectly in Project64. The connectors aren't the problem. We've been playing Mario Kart 64, but just can't play DD or Wii

Have you been in Config -- Gamecube and set the ports to the correspending controllers?

I have now upgraded to the newest version. I am currently waiting for 3 of my friends, for a nice session of high definition Mario Kart Wii with 4 gamecube controllers connected by Mayflash USB adapter. Works perfectly with the newest dolphin version, I love it.
