Connect to Nintendo WFC?

I am wondering, is it possible to connect to, say, the SSBB servers Nintendo hosts? PPSSPP (a PSP emulator) can connect to most online services with moderate to no difficulty. Moreover, since I have no friends (that's a blatant lie) I would prefer to not use my Letterbombed, out of date real Wii on SSBB servers because I like using my PS3 controller for Brawl instead of a GC or a Wiimote.
