Just made a test with r5982 on several games -- Resident Evil Zero (GC), Resident Evil 4 (GC), Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles (Wii) and found that the performance has increased around 1-2fps.

Thank the developers very much and hope you continue the improvement.

Wish it would be a surprise on r6000...TongueTongueTongueTongue
My desktop equipment:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 overclocking to 3.5Ghz
Memory: 4Gbytes DDR2 running in 800MHZ

You can thank dok.slade for some of these recent performance boosts, he's new to the Dolphin dev team and has been contributing many PowerPC JIT optimizations. Smile

He did kind of screw up one time by breaking every single wii game at the same time, but it was quickly corrected and laughs were had.

I'd personally like to know how much better Dolphin has performed since r5953, he began his optimization commits on r5954 and Dolphin has been steadily gaining frames since.

now, we just need someone to optimize the graphic plugins. The efb scale thing rodolf introduced doesn't work at all, screwing up the efb alignment in some cases. Also, ogl is a really bad performer now.

Yeah, the performance improvements are great, although I wish someone would work on fixing the HLE audio, it hasn't been the same way back after r5532.
