I'm using Dolphin 5.0 on a Macbook. I've bought a cheap generic USB joystick (N64-alike) on ebay. I'm trying to configure it as a GameCube controller.
The device is detected as Input/0/Generic USB Joystick in the list of devices
When I first configure it, all is well - I can map A to Button A, B to Button B etc. Once I've configured everything I can go through and press all the buttons and see the corresponding indicators on the dialogue light up red.
I can come out of that dialogue, come back in again, and everything is still cool and configured.
But when I start the emulation, none of the buttons do anything. I quit the emulation, and go back to the configuration, and none of the red indicators light up anymore, and none of the buttons are configurable anymore - all greyed out and not editable. I have to completely clear the mapping to make anything editable.
And then I'm back where I started.
Any advice as to what's going on?
Thanks
Sam
