Hi,

I am using Mac OSX and I have config'd and connected my DS4 controller fine for GC. Am having trouble configuring the six axis motion/ tilt for Wii though.

Can it be done from a Mac without another program?
Also does anyone know if I can configure the trackpad to work with wii games?
Or does anyone know what the call names are for the DS4 controller functions?

Lots on the internet about config for GC nothing for motion config for mac!?! Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks

I doubt you would be able to configure a DS4 as a wiimote without anything else, I don't think it would even be very good if you did.

It does all the buttons and sticks fine, just can't get trackpad or gyro. Surely it's the same process just using different name!?!?

Do you know any good mac programs that would solve the problem?

Not sure if this will be helpful but using Steam I was able to map the Steam Controller Gyro to the wiimote by making it output as the right joystick of a 360 controller, since the wiimote + nunchuck don't have a right joystick, then having Dolphin read gyro from the right joystick of a 360 controller for Mario Galaxy, works surprisingly well too, I know the Steam Overlay has support for DS4 gyro, you'll have to enable DS4 support in Big Picture Mode, but I'm not sure if it'll work as well for the DS4 as the Steam controller, just something to try, it took me a bit of messing around with both the Steam gyro settings and Dolphin gyro settings to get it to work well so be ready for that. obviously this also means you'll have to launch the game through Steam to get the overlay to hook in but that's relatively easy to do.
