Hey all. I'm new to this whole emulation thing, and was hoping to get some help getting the most performance out of my system. I followed the Dolphin setup on the main page and it allowed me to get some roms running. I get ok framerates, but I think I can get a LOT more out of my system, with some proper tweaking.

my specs:
AMD Phenom 8600S Triple Core Processor(3CPU's@2.3GHz
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX +(2GB)
Windows 7 64bit

What would be the best setup for speed on the Windwaker?
It looks great the way the tutorial has it setup. but I get some chop.

Thanks, guys.

Not with that cpu. First generation Phenoms have terrible IPC. What you're running is essentially the equivalent of a core 2 quad running at 1.55GHz and 1 core disabled.

Upgrade to a phenom II cpu or if you have an AM3 board wait until bulldozer comes out and upgrade then.

I see, thanks for that. I was looking to upgrade anyways, just another reason to do so.
