I have not experienced this problem myself or heard of anyone who personally has, I've only read about it and theoretically, the problem makes sense. Then again, most people with Sandy and Ivy don't upgrade to Haswell since you have to get a new board and it isn't typically that much better.
Even if you are using C6/C7 on a desktop for some strange reason an older PSU isn't going to give you any major issues with it as long as it's a good unit. It's not as big of a deal as some people are making it out to be.

Okay one last question. Do i need to overclock this to play games like Mario Kart Wii, New Super Mario Brothers, and Super Smash Brothers Brawl with 4 player multiplayer (I plan on overclocking eventually)?
Anybody? 07-11-2013, 06:57 PM
For multiplayer you might, but you shouldn't for single player.
OS: Windows 10 64 bit Professional
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5900X RAM: 48GB GPU: Radeon 7800 XT 07-11-2013, 08:45 PM
