computer specs

will an AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition and a 1GB Radeon HD 4870 be enough to get good fps with wii games in dolphin? Ill also will get 4GB 1066 Ram. Im going to build the system this summer so there is still room for suggestions.

That should be more than enough to run Dolphin's Gamecube and Wii games at full speed. Keep in mind that the emulator doesn't currently fully support quad cores. It will treat it only as a dual core. But that really won't effect anything. Games will still run fine.

thanks for the info, are PC game controllers supported in wii games? Also, although it is treated as dual core will it still get some performance "pickups" with quad like some PC games do?

As far as I know, it won't have any benefit performance from a quad. Maybe down the road they'll be able to implement it. I dunno about PC game controllers for Wii games cause I've only played with the Gamecube emulation.
