i have a custom gaming laptop here and i well over qualify as far as specs go, i can run every game in 1080P/60fps no lag but on games like smash bros theirs a input lag on my controller that holds me back from play smash bros competitively.

now i use the steam controller and it works extremely well with dolphin.
but no matter what controller i use rather its my wiiU pro controller, wii pro controller, or the wii controller alone, xbox 360 controller or evefn my ps3 controller it always seems that the game cant keep up with my inputs, cant wav dance, dash dance moonwalk noting because of the input delay.
now people say they have fixed it for themselves but theirs lot of mixed solutions

Try the latest dev build, 4.0-9410 and see if you still have this problem.

about your specs.....: (Show Spoiler)
Intel core i5-4210M @2.60Ghz (3.20Ghz OC)
Nvidia GTX 860M 4gb + intel 4600

Sorry to burst your bubble, but those are average specs. Not bad, but also not the best.

Pretty sure they meant they over qualify for specs required for Dolphin. Which is true.

Professional Smash players confirm that Dolphin is lower lag than console on CRT by roughly ~1 frame.

I never assume things, cause you know what that makes out of you and me Tongue

That's what I was replying to, as I doubt they can get Rogue Squadron to run that way (maybe Mario Galaxy also due to being heavy on the GPU?)

SMG isn't so heavy that a 860M couldn't play it just fine at 3x IR. It's GPU heavy because it hammers the hell out of the EFB.

Rogue Squadron just hammers everything in general and I've played a bit of it just fine on my haswell laptop, which isn't as strong as his.

If you have continuous scanning on, and you have more real wiimotes configured than connected (example: all remotes real wiimote but one connected) You get like a quarter second of input lag.
