All -TR remotes have built-in MotionPlus, but not all remotes with MotionPlus are -TR remotes – the gold remotes included with Skyward Sword are non-TR MotionPlus remotes. AFAIK, the distinction is that the -TR remotes no longer cover up the red Sync button with the battery cover, instead having it exposed on the back.
-TR remotes take a bit more work to connect to Dolphin, but they work perfectly once you connect them. We have a guide for that, but if you already have the Toshiba stack installed and know how to use it, you shouldn't really need it. https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/wii-remote-plus-rvl-cnt-01-tr-connection-guide/
