Hi everyone! First of, thanks to all of the devs for their hard work on this amazing emulator. My question is, is there any way I can completely exit the game as well as the emulator while playing in fullscreen? I just built a home theatre PC for the living room, and have XBMC set up so if I select a game, Dolphin launches the game in fullscreen from the command line. Once I'm done playing the game, however, I have to pull out my keyboard and hit ESC, and then Alt+F4 the game window and Alt+F4 the Dolphin window. Is there a keyboard command/any way to enable completely stopping emulation and exiting Dolphin from within fullscreen? Thanks in advance!

Alt+F4 IS supposed to completely close the emulator......

Alt+F4 will exit the current window (the game which is running in fullscreen), but will leave the main Dolphin window open (the window which lists your games, has the config options, etc) So, I'd have to Alt+F4 twice.
There is no way to completely stop emulation and exit the app? 03-01-2010, 01:18 PM
well, not sure about that one, unless you use the "render to main window" then fullscreen as soon as the game starts

Just as an update to anyone else who is looking for the solution:
There's no way (that I know of) to configure a button that will make the program exit completely. What I did is use another program called "LM Remote KeyMap", which allows you to change what each button on your remote does when a different program is in focus, and I mapped the "Exit" button on my remote to do the following: Hit ESC to exit fullscreen, hit Alt+F4 to kill the game window, bring the Dolphin emu window to focus, and Alt+F4 it. Works perfectly! |
