Sorry if this was already discussed before but the setting "Compile shaders before start" only works here if the asynchronous (ubershaders) shader compilation option is selected, in the default synchronous option the "before start" compilation is skipped and it is the same as being disabled.

Is this working properly? If it is, there is any kind of warning about this?

Using Vulkan and tested the options on both preview Gamecube, retail Gamecube and Wii versions of Resident Evil 4.

I tested the same settings in OpenGl and DirectX backends and they have the "before start" working independent of the shader compilation options. So the scenario is exclusive to Vulkan. The Dolphin version is 5.0-11991 revision 8d4e8314a3dcd8680ae81d91fb7e076b4496b43b.
