Hi,
my question is, if it would be possible to create a game image from a folder of extracted files.
I want to delete some files in the game image (language files, which i don't need),to save more space.
I extract all files, delete these files in the folder, but i don't find a tool to recreate it to a game image.
Would be cool if someone has a help Smile

You could also try just compressing the game file into a wbfs format.

Yes, this is possible. I don't have a lot of experience doing this, so I'm not sure of the best software to use, but I used GameCube ISO Tool once to rebuild a GC disc and it seemed to work fine. You can choose to save a trimmed disc image to save space, and on top of that, it should be possible to delete unneeded files like you said. Some Googling tells me that wit can handle both GC and Wii discs, but I think you need to use a command-line interface with it.

WIT can create new GC/Wii ISOs and even supports Dolphin's GCZ format. The only downside is the lack of a GUI, everything is handled through command line interface...

Hm ok - The game  with i want to start was a extractet wbfs-image.I  testet "WIT",but i don't get a source folder back to an game disc or wbfs-image.

Has someone expericence how to get it back to it old format?

These are all folders of the extracted wbfs image:

I have tested  WIT with this command:
"wit -convert Z:\Root" (source directory)
It comes the text "wit:One directory scanned, but no valid source files found"
Why no valid files? The wbfs image looks like it was new extracted...o.O

WIT uses a particular folder structure. Extract the image again but using WIT, modify the files and convert it back...

WiiBaFu has a GUI and I think is based on WIT.  Definitely give it a try.  You can extract the image, make your changes and then repackage.
