I seem to be stuck. I've got my ds4 hooked up and mapped out with a "standard controller" in one of the GC ports, but when I boot up galaxy 2 It gives me the ol Communications interruption with the wiiimote. I can't for the life of me figure this out. Do I need to map the ds4 to an emulated wiimote? I appreciate any help and anyone taking the time to point me in he right direction!

Yes, you need to do this for Super Mario Galaxy 2, since that game doesn't support GameCube controllers.

Thanks! I had an inkling about thisafter some googling I figured this out. Is there an ideal program for this on OS X? From My forum browsing it looks like DS4windows will do the trick, so booting up parallel is no issue but I'd prefer to stay in one OS if possible.

If you already managed to map it to an emulated GameCube controller, you can map it to an emulated Wii Remote in the same way without installing any additional software.

Roger that. I'm seeing few guides that assign things like shake to buttons and other little tricks.  I appreciate your help!
