I have Dolphin manually pointed at a folder in my OneDrive storage for saving all the settings, save files, etc(via registry edit). I am able to switch between machines pretty much seamlessly with all my settings and saves following me around. What is the likelihood that this could be a feature added in preferences without the registry tweak?
Cloud Storage for Dolphin Settings

Very unlikely to have "cloud support" in master. It seems like what you're asking for is the ability to configure the user directory path more easily without using the registry. There are several problems with the other approaches: you can't put it in the user config, since the setting has to be independent from any profile. Environment variables are not much easier to use than the registry (on Windows). Maybe a setting file next to the executable with the path? Either way, it is currently not implemented.

sorry to jump on an old thread, but its a similar question.
as other emus are supporting cloud storage, will it ever be possible to have your games/saves stored onto a cloud drive (or another webhost) and stream them via the emu. this could be handy so you can play from a desktop or smart device so you can access your games and resume using the same save when your out and about, and then resume again from desktop? |
