I haven't found much related material in searching for a solution. Is there a way to get Dolphin to close out and return me to my front-end using only the Wiimote (connected to the Mayflash bar)? One of the threads mentioned that powering off the wiimote closed Dolphin, but that didn't work for me. It would be nice to set a button combination (say, - and +) to trigger an alt-F4 response, killing Dolphin, or something similar.

Is anything like that possible without having to resort to an external program? I've been able to use an external program (Controller Companion) to do this with the XB1 controller, but the same program won't detect inputs from the wiimote. I'd prefer not to load a program like xpadder or j2k for only this use; it's overhead and one more memory resident program I'd prefer to do without if possible.

If nothing like that is really possible, no worries. Better to know it's not feasible for certain than cast around trying to find all sorts of half-usable workarounds.
