Hi! Dolphin noob here.

I am playing windwaker and I have reached the point where I have received the bombs, however I cannot press A to continue onward. I am using a Xbox 360 controller. Everything has worked fine until then but now it is kind of stuck. I tried to update my dolphin however I was not able to play it on the new build. I also tried rebinding my controls from my controller onto my keyboard but that worked to no avail. What can I do??

Make sure you have the latest driver available for the Xbox controller, and that it is selected on GCPad settings.
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

I don't believe it is the controller's problem because I tested it with other games I have via steam. I did select it as my default and then I tried using a keyboard for my issue but it still isn't responding.

Going back and messing with it I was able to load a previous save onto my emulator and that had no problem, however this one part is unresponsive. Could it be possible that the game is bugged?

If the game is bugged then it means you have a bad game dump. Using the latest dev builds, you can compute the md5 hash sum by right clicking on the game and going to properties. Then compare that against an internet search for that game. If it is not a 100% match, you have a bad ISO and need to redump your game.

Also, on older builds asynchronous audio will cause a lot of hangs in Wind Waker because of how sensitive it is to timings.
