clearing code cache

Is there an option that clears code cache every once in a while during a game? I need that because I'm playing Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and it starts out flawlessly but then gets slower when a battle ends, and clearing code cache makes it normal again. I had settings once where code was cleared out every once in a while during a game and I forgot the options. I'm using Dolphin 3.5 because it's the fastest for me. Please help me.

Thanks,
-Felix.

If you want improvements and newer options, then update to 5.0 or the latest development builds. It has no use asking to update an old build, it is pointless. Just use the latest version, chances are your problems are solved.

In fact, Dolphin 5.0 is the fastest and most compactible Dolphin so far. Improved JIT64 and HLE audio, D3D12, better EFB Copies to Texture support and a lot more that speeds up the use of Dolphin. You should really try and use the latest version instead of this old build, you will see it works better.

If you are really stuck to 3.5 because of lacking hardware, then I doubt 3.5 is not running smoothly either. In which case you should really consider upgrading your system. Dolphin was never meant to be used on weaker systems, it was more experimental. Dolphin 5.0 is what I really call a full fledged out emulator, this release is really that amazing. Of course improving Dolphin never rests, but you get the idea. There is only so much we can do to help you, it is up to you to have fulfill the hardware requirements. Besides, using older versions such as 3.5 will only cause you more headaches.

Note: We still clear the code cache in the latest builds. We stopped displaying the message because users thought it was an error.
