You don't have to patch the NTSC-U version of the game. It should run at 30FPS by default.
You should be able to set the Internal Resolution to 4x (which has a resolution of 2560x2112 as opposed to 1920x1080 if you set the internal resolution to auto) without any performance drop.

I'd suggest reading the game thread and post any issues/problems you get with the game in that particular thread.

Yes. It's as simple as hooking it up, refreshing the device list in the Wii controller config and mapping the buttons.

I set it up and did 3x native. Does it benefit me to go 4x since I don't even hit the 3x native resolution with my tv?

I did the 360 controller and mapped all buttons except the modifiers. Still wouldn't work on the title screen for some reason.

I did check that threads first few pages and noticed I don't need the patch. Now to fix the controller and maybe check out the HD retexture eventually.

It will give you better IQ, but if you don't see/notice any difference, then by all means, stay on 3x.

Make sure you setup a Wii controller, not a GameCube controller.
You should also consider setting up the classic controller extension since that'll be easier to setup for PS3/360 controllers.

I will look into the 3x-4x native resolution as soon as I get some problems fixed. The opening cutscene had some frame drops when dunban ran into the enemy forces, and then some other parts of the cutscene. Audio started acting strange. Some weird skipping mixed with a hallway effect.

I was setting up the gamecube controller. I just did the wii but didn't program it for wii controls. Just went straight into classic and it worked like a champ.

Thanks so much for your help. I feel a lot better just knowing its working. Now to iron out the issues.
