I recently downloaded the latest version of citra and I try to play new super mario bros 2..

well i always get 15 - 22 fps and it annoys me.. anyone here whho wants to share their experience or tweaks in citra..

PC Specs:
i3 4010U @1.7Ghz
4GB DDR3 RAM
NVIDIA 720M @2GB
Windows 10 1709 64 Bit

I don't know much about citra, but your computer looks kind of slow.

its kinda good because I can play NBA 2K14 smoothly and I can run twilight princess @2x resolution with a little stutterring sometimes

Basing on my experience, citra is not well optimized. Usually scaling higher than 1x kills performance, but picture quality without scaling/filtering is just crap. i am waiting for new features making playing faster.

Citra really needs more raw power than Dolphin. 3DS being less powerfull than a GameCube don't mean it's easier and lighter to emulate.

I'm not sure that's entirely true, but it is true that Citra is much earlier in its lifecycle than Dolphin is. Not that they don't have any interest in optimization at all, but they likely want to get things working right before they get them working fast (which is the correct approach IMO).
