Using DSP LLE recompiler on Dolphin build 3.5-1031, the sound is pretty choppy in a lot of games. The worst are 3d ones like Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy 2, etc. Least problems are Fire Emblem, New Super Mario Bros.
HLE works in Super Mario Galaxy 2 but there's no music! Whenever I enable LLE my speed goes below 100%.. I'm sure that's why the sound is choppy. Can't do LLE on thread in Super Mario Galaxy 2 or it crashes. Doesn't help anyway.
Settings in audio are:
DSP LLE recompiler, DSP LLE on thread (in games that work), backend is DSound. Config has dual core, idle skipping on, 60fps framelimit (50 for pal), only 2x native w/ no enhancements (I can do Window Size of 1920x1080 and get good performance but trying to lower settings for sound, though).
Any ideas why it's this bad?
My system is more than good enough to run it:
i7 960 3.2GHz
HD7970
6GB extremely low latency DDR3
Been wondering how my Asus XONAR DX interacts with dolphin too if at all.
