Choppy audio and nothing's helping!

Music
Okay, so I recently got the Dolphin 5.0 emulator. It's very good, and it worked PERFECTLY the first few days. Today I try to play it, and then the audio starts bugging, getting choppier, mainly with kinda loud static noises in the background of the game's actual music.

If any of you could help, that'd be great. Here's some extra info if you need it.

OS: Windows 7 x86
Computer: Intel Laptop
Emulator: Dolphin 5.0 x86
Game: New Super Mario Bros. Wii

If you need more info, I can get it, but this is all I know for now. Please tell me if you have a solution, because I'm really confused! Huh

Oh, and I put a little video of myself playing it down at the bottom there, in the form of a google drive file.. Listen to it at least and you'll probably hear the static, too. I accidentally had my microphone on the first 30 seconds or so, but you'll see sooner or later the issues at like 0:50 in the video. Thanks!

Update: I disconnected the second wiimote, which was an edited PS4 controller and it got slightly better than it used to. Still some errors, though. Which just confuses me more. If anyone on the internet is nice, please find a way to save these dropped audio frames. Save the frames, save the Pingas.

There's no x86 build of Dolphin 5.0, so you're definitely wrong about some of your specs. I'm going to work on the assumption that you're actually using a 64-bit OS, and recommend you try the latest dev build, as most of the time, weird issues since the latest stable have been fixed.

The issue with the sound is that the game is running well below full speed, so there isn't enough sound to fill in the time that it takes for each frame to display. You might want to post your settings in case something can be done to make it go faster, but if you can't get full speed, your best bet is to enable audio stretching which should make the sound less distracting if you can't get full speed.

Can you look into Dolphin's Configuration ini and tell me what audiovariance is set to?

Also what is latency set to in the Audio tab? I'm also assuming you're using latest dev for both of these.

There's like thousands of config .ini files, which one do you mean?
The latency is set to 2, I'm using XAudio2 so I can't edit it.

If you want more info, go to my profile. I didn't get the latest dev build, though, because it was quoted as experimental and I didn't want to take risks. Also, the FPS counter was at 60FPS the whole time, except for the title, on my test video.

It doesn't look full speed in your video. I have a feeling Dolphin's framerate output is wrong. On 5.0, none of the options I care about exist.

Intel HD3000 is the bare minimum you can possibly use for Dolphin, I'm wondering if it's struggling to output full speed. Still confused why it says 60, but the game definitely doesn't look smooth.

I'm pretty sure I saw drops into the forties in the bit of the video I looked at, but it was slow throughout. Maybe the FPS counter is being doubled or something odd like that.

Someone needs to clear up the fact that dev builds aren't "experimental." In fact, they're almost always recommended over the "stable" versions.
