Glad to see this thread isn't dead after 3 years. I am one of the admins on the Chibi-Robo Wiki and am trying to dump the textures you have here for screenshots and other side projects, but my DDS viewer (which was able to view .DDS files from Super Mario Sunshine perfectly) gives me an error when trying to open any of the files from your HD pack. Putting the .rar into Dolphin's resource pack folder works, and it loads the HD textures then, but I still can't get the actual HD texture files themselves. Here's what I'm using to try to open them http://amnoid.de/ddsview/

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

the custom texture tool (pinned thread) includes a dds viewer

Yeah they're BC7  DDS files which don't open in much of anything. I use XnViewMp to preview them. Rather than having you mess with converting them, how about I give you the source files?

In the download folder there's now "GGTE01-PNG.zip" which has all the textures in PNG format.

this looks great... but I must be doing something wrong...

this is the first time using a texture pack for me,
I put the folder called "GGTE01" (which is the game ID) into the Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Load\Textures folder, and I activated the custom textures settings in the advanced graphics options, but the textures don't show up in game. it just uses the normal textures of the game.

what am I doing wrong here?

EDIT: ok I'm an idiot, I downloaded the old format, with the .PNG version it works flawlessly!

this texture pack is a godsend, I just wanted to play the game and thought... mhhh... I wonder if someone touched up these somewhat rough looking textures. because in 1440p the original ones are really hard to look at.

Amazing work! I bought Chibi-Robo years ago and never finished it, I will definitely play through this whole game with this beautiful pack.
