Since this change, all my 100+ wii game titles that I meticulously set over the years in the save file bin are gone and I'm left with a bunch of junk.

I've cracked open the iso in wiiscrubber and modified the name but that didn't work. How do I fix this? Where is it pulling the name now? What's the easiest way to change this?

*4.0-6163

Fixed that for you. r6163 was 5 years ago!

Anyway, 4.0-6163 changed Dolphin so that it reads the name from the disc itself instead of the save data. Since you used "save file bin" to change the names... that would do it! But honestly what you were doing was unsupported anyway...

You need to use Titles.txt instead to change their names. You can find instructons here -> https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-ch...tle-banner

What about the order in the game list? That seems to be independent of what I set in this file. Tried purging cache and some other things....Something I'm missing?

The name sorting with titles.txt is broken right now, unfortunately. I've planned to fix it sometime, but first I'd like to wait for PR 2242...
