My friends and I have been messing around with editing game files in our spare time, of course textures are easy. Video files require a little bit more know-how but are also not that difficult to change. The main issue that I've been trying to tackle is audio.
Now with some digging I've found what I assume to be the audio files, they include an .afc file, .arc file, .asn file, and many .aw files.
Googling doesn't come up with too much, and what I could find was often many years old by now. I've also found tools that claim to be able to effectively extract these sounds, but I can't find anyone stating whether these sounds could then be re-packed into their original file types and inserted in the iso.
I have the tools for unpacking and re-packing isos, it all comes down to whether I can extract these file types into something more malleable and then putting them neatly back together.
Many of the posts I find claim it's most likely impossible, however I know someone has made a hack of sunshine that replaces all the textures and sounds with toad. Sadly this individual hasn't responded to anyone asking HOW they were able to do it.
