Changing PC IP/DNS will affect dolphin?

Hi guys, I wanted to try netflix on dolphin. I have an account, no weird stuff going on here.

I used my own nand to access the wii shop, but netflix is not there. I read somewhere that netflix was released on some markets only.

So, If I change the pc dns to a country where netflix was available, will show on shop channel? 

Or changing wii country on settings will be enough?

You probably need to VPN to a country that has it.

The Wii Shop Channel only cares about what region and country your NAND is set to, not your IP address or DNS server. But Netflix itself (once you've downloaded the channel) might require an IP address in the right country.

Oh damn. If need a permanent vpn/dns/ip to stream, is a no go. Well, at least will try to make it appear on shop channel. Since netflix is available here I have some hopes it will work fine once downloaded.

You do realize that Netflix on Dolphin will run ~1 fps...

Anyway it s just for fun. I like to test this things, sometimes I use the web browser channel, it s so bad that is fun

BTW, tried to change country in wii settings and get a warning about country change on shop and after accepting contract, always get error 205906.

With my original language I get 205906 but if I hit retry shop will work fine.

With other language selected even after hitting retry I get 205906, no way to enter shop.

If the SYSCONF country doesn't match with your shop account country, then Nintendo won't let you access the shop. IIRC, you must delete your shop account first before changing the country setting (if you get error 205906).

I really dont remember how to delete a shop account. Even dont remember how I created one, lol. Well, it s been like 10 years.

As far as I remember, there's an option to do that inside Wii Shop Channel settings. You'll need to get past this error to access the settings, though...

Hi, you are right, there is an option inside shop cannel. Not sure if I should delete my account, im afraid if i cant Access again with a new account or recover this one. Seems you cant have more than one.

Maybe its easier to find the netflix wad.
