Thumbs Up
Would there be any way to alter the enemies that spawn in the last levels of the Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers for Gamecube? Like I'm wondering if I can just remove or replace the spawning of any orcs and goblins, and let the game only spawn Uruks type enemies instead (there were no orcs and shit at Helms Deep, thus the purpose).

Anyways, what kind of way would I go about doing that. I've modded before here and there for many games, but only Dolphin once, and it was a while ago. But I did successfully model switch a rather tricky game from what I remember. Now I know that what I'm asking for is a little different than a model switch, but do you think it would be possible to find script inside the game that controls that and to alter in that slight way? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXtyLV0oUmI

If you watch the video, you can see there are like there are 4 or 5 points that all different kids of enemies spawn from. I guess I'm wondering if I could just make the game not tick to spawn any orcs or goblins from those spots, and then which might be a step on its own, have only the actual Uruk Hai enemies spawn for the last 3 missions. Or even one of the missions, I don't care. If it's not possible that's fine, I just was wondering if it could be done. Thanks for letting me use the forum Smile

Don't know about editing the game script.

If you could find the monster memory values, maybe? Perhaps find the health values for different types and back track from there, but you'd have to work with the PowerPC assembly code.

the types that spawn might even be hardcoded in the assembly code
