Changing configuration settings for each game?

Hey guys, I've run into a problem:

So I'm new to Dolphin and I don't want my games to stutter or lag. However, each game that I want to play (Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros Brawl) have different configurations for their best performance.

Specifically, looking at the Dolphin compatible games wiki,
Super Mario Galaxy needs to have Skip EFB Access from CPU off
but
Super Smash Bros Brawl needs to have Skip EFB Access from CPU on

So my question is, can the dolphin program have specific configurations for each game? Or are configuration settings the same for all games and changing it will change it for every game? If so, does that mean that I have to turn this on and off each time I switch from Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros Brawl?

If you change the settings in the normal configuration window, it will apply to all games. But you can also create game INIs with settings that only apply to one game, as described here: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-howto-using-gameini-settings-per-game

In the case of Super Mario Galaxy, there is already a game INI included with Dolphin that disables Skip EFB Access from CPU for you. So when you play that game, you'll automatically have the right settings even if you haven't set them up manually.
