Change - BUY my processor ?

Hello i have processor Amd Athlon 64 X2 [color=#FF0000]2.0 Mhz[/color], ati 4670, win 7 x64
Actualy with deca sport obtain maximun 15 fps.

The question is:
If i change - BUY (not OC) the NEW processor CPU to (my board is't intel) Athlon x2 [color=#FF0000]2.8 Mhz[/color], realy i obtain 30 fps or i abandon the idea ?

Please what your suggestion, very thank you to all.

I don't know much about AMD athlon but you can safely overclock it to 3.5ghz (most game will run fullspeed)

but 150% overclock isn't realistic for a guy on stock cooling and old athlon processor. If his games run at 15fps now they wont run at 60 after oc'ing

I mean OC the Athlon X2 2.8Ghz not his old Athlon XP 64 2.0Ghz.Anyway If i were you i would buy Intel dual core for the same price ,Intel is the beast at OC

If he is looking at an athlon X2 then it is safe to assume that he does not have the money to buy a new mobo and ram on top of a new cpu.
