Hello. I am playing Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth on the Dolphin and works pretty well. The music and sound is perfect. The graphics too.

The only problem i have is that it plays a bit slow, and my pc is really powerful so I guess there must be a way to fix this. Any options on the emu I should check or any help?

Also, is there any way to easily configure the controller? I have a Logitech Gamepad with many buttons but the Wii controller is really complex, so its a bit hard to figure out how to map the buttons.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, my specs would be:

OS Windows Vista Home
Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU E2200 @ 2.20GHz, 2200 Mhz,
3 Gb RAM
300 GB harddisk

I guess its more than enough to run the game, it is not unbearably slow, its just that i am sure it is not the normal speed of the game.

Thanks in advance.

Sure his PC ain't powerful, however it IS more than enough to run 2D WiiWare games.

Post screenshots of your settings so we may find the answer as to what you did wrong.

Lol, Im such an idiot...frameskip option helped a lot xD. Kinda moves like a Chaplin movie but gameplay is smooth now

Over 10 years using emulators an I overlooked that option xD

Now, the only thing left is to configure the gamepad....that wii control is crazy...I have been having a hard time mapping the gamepad buttons on the emulator.

I was actually having the same issues earlier, but got it to work at a reasonable rate with the following:

SVN R 6331M build
General config ON: Enable Idle Skipping, Skip GC BIOS, JIT Recompiler, Lock threads to cores, DSPLLE on thread
(Enable Dual Core resulted in black screen after title for me)

Display: Hide Mouse Cursor (doesn't do anything for speed), Confirm On Stop

Graphics Plugins: Dolphin Direct3D11 defaults

Runs about 75% most of the time, 100 when there's less going on-screen. But the rain effects in the first level really kill me. Haven't messed with much and ain't a genius when it comes to this stuff. I've got one of those "entry level" gaming laptops with the following specs, which has been enough to max out any recent game settings without slowdown... so if you've got a way I can optimize better, please let me know.

Processor: i7 quad 1.73GHz
System Memory (RAM)
6GB DDR3
Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870
Video Memory: 1GB GDDR5
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870
