Cant get controller to work!? :(

Hi Guys,

New here, hope I am posting in the right section pretty sure.  So recently I purchased a Mayflash GameCube controller adaptor with 2 ports so I could hook my GameCube controller to Dolphin and enjoy. However! I cannot seem to get it to work for the life of me. It's strange, it understands the inputs I make in the controller config. But once I load a game the controller becomes unresponsive and does nothing. I then open the config while running it and None of the inputs will work but the moment I close the game they all start responding in the control config once again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What game are you trying to play? It probably doesn't support GC controllers.

That doesn't explain why the buttons wouldn't work inside the controller config while running a game.

Hey, 

Thanks for the response. I have tried Simpsons hit and run, as well as Tony hawks underground. I forgot to mention before I am able to use my Xbox 1 elite controller perfectly fine.

For some reason once i Start the game it does not want to respond to the GC controller anymore?

Exactly, everything works perfectly in the config before the game posts, but once it does it becomes totally unresponsive. I wanted to mention that my Xbox controller works perfectly fine if that helps?

FIXED! For anyone who faces the same issue it did not like the 3.0 USB changed to 2.0 port worked a charm!
