Yes, my Wii remote does have Wii Motion Plus in it and yes it's worked with those games on an actual Wii. I also have an adapter for Wii Motion Plus, should that work if I just plug it in? I don't have any remotes that don't have Wii Motion Plus inside.
Edit: Well, connecting the adapter made it work with Skyward Sword. So that's solved, but I still don't understand why the Dolphinbar won't update.
