My Dolphinbar just came in the mail today, but I can't update it. It works for normal games, Xenoblade, Mario Kart, etc, but not for games that require Wii Motion Plus like Skyward Sword and Wii Sports Resort. I downloaded the firmware from here (http://www.mayflash.com/support/download) but when I run it it says "It's a different product, the firmware is not matched, Cant update it!" On another thread someone said it may be a bootleg or similar but I got the Amazon link from Dolphin's site, and checked on MayFlash's site, and it was the same link. Any help?

Do you actually have a Wiimote with Motion Plus/Wimote+ or are you trying to use a "normal" Wiimote? If you have a Wiimote+ or Motion Plus attachment, does it work in Zelda:SS or Sports resort on the real Wii?
Check my profile for up to date specs.
Yes, my Wii remote does have Wii Motion Plus in it and yes it's worked with those games on an actual Wii. I also have an adapter for Wii Motion Plus, should that work if I just plug it in? I don't have any remotes that don't have Wii Motion Plus inside.
Edit: Well, connecting the adapter made it work with Skyward Sword. So that's solved, but I still don't understand why the Dolphinbar won't update. |
