Cannot seem to enter my DKCR profile

Can someone please tell me how to enter a Donkey Kong Country Returns profile into the gamecube controller area? I am using an XBOX 360 game pad. I have already changed the profile text file extension to ini. I have already tried to simply go to gamecube gamepad area and click on the profiles load button but nothing shows up. I also tried to enter the title of the profile that I have in the profile area and click load and nothing happens. I even tried to put the entire windows path to my profile in the profile area and clicked load and still nothing happens. I know someone is gonna say just type everything manually, but when I attempt to do this, and click on the start button to change to start, there is no start there. Please help! Thank you.

Well, DKCR doesn't support GC controller as input, if you have downloaded an Xbox360 profile for DKCR, it's probably for the emulated Wiimote, so, move your "profile text file" to User/Config/Profiles/Wiimote folder and load it on Emulated Wiimote Settings...
