Cannot Save Gamecube Game Files

I recently started using Dolphin and for a while I was able to save data to my current memory cards. But recently I haven't been able to save data on net play or just single player. I've tried making a new memory card but nothing seems to be working

Have you updated dolphin? Does it give you an error? Where are you saving the cards to?

Dolphin is at 5.13603. And I for some reason its working for singleplayer but not netplay. I sent the memory card that I have saved to the person I'm playing with and we try to start up and play Mario baseball for the gamecube and it works fine but our gamedata wont save.
